Job Overview:
As an Assistant Sales Manager at See’s Candies, you will support the Shop Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the retail store. This role focuses on achieving sales goals, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring operational excellence. You will actively participate in various aspects of retail management and lead a team in a fun, sales-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
 Assist the Shop Manager in providing leadership and fostering a customer-focused, sales-driven team.
 Achieve daily, monthly, and annual sales targets while setting a strong example for the team.
 Communicate and enforce company policies, direction, and programs.
 Delegate tasks effectively, ensure team compliance, and provide necessary follow-up.
 Resolve customer and employee issues in a professional, timely manner.
 Train, develop, and coach team members on company policies and procedures.
 Assist in recruitment by identifying and recommending qualified candidates.
 Ensure compliance with company standards, ethical guidelines, and safety protocols.
 Monitor and control expenses to meet budgetary targets.
 Support cash handling, asset protection, and banking procedures.
 Ensure accurate timekeeping and timely payroll approval.
 Ensure compliance with state and federal wage and break laws.
 Collaborate with Shop Manager and District Sales Managers to create and implement work schedules.
 Assist in paperwork management, including new hires, banking, and inventory.
Qualifications:
 Minimum 1 year of retail management experience.
 Proven ability to motivate, train, and coach employees to drive sales.
 Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to change management.
 Physical capability to perform the essential duties, including packing, stocking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
 Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.

Compensation:
 Pay rate: $24.65 per hour
