The Department of Justice (DOJ) is looking to fill Attorney and Assistant United States Attorney positions. These roles offer an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of the U.S. legal system, representing the federal government in various legal matters. Key Responsibilities:
› Represent the U.S. in civil or criminal cases, providing legal counsel and advocacy in court.
› Prepare and present legal documents such as motions, briefs, and pleadings.
› Work closely with government agencies to offer legal advice and ensure compliance with federal laws.
› Conduct research, draft opinions, and contribute to legal strategy development.
Qualifications:
› U.S. citizenship or a national, or someone who owes allegiance to the U.S.
› Must pass a drug test.
› Possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
› Experience in litigation or providing legal counsel within a government or public sector environment.
› Proficiency in legal research, case management, and federal court procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
› Experience working in federal courts.
› Familiarity with federal legal frameworks, including knowledge of policies governing federal agencies.
› Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation cases and provide high-quality legal advice.

Salary Range:
› $59,319 - $152,771 per year
