PHI supports the Global Health Training, Advisory, and Support Contract (GHTASC) in partnership with USAID’s Global Health Bureau, providing institutional support in various technical capacities.
Job Description:
The Digital Health Advisor will primarily support the Center for Innovation and Impact (CII) at USAID. This role involves implementing the USAID Digital Health Position Paper (2024-2029), working with international teams, and providing technical assistance in digital health initiatives. Responsibilities include project management, policy guidance, stakeholder engagement, and supporting global digital health activities.
Key Responsibilities:
› Implement and operationalize the USAID Digital Health Position Paper.
› Provide technical assistance to USAID Missions, including overseas travel.
› Support country-level digital health portfolios and initiatives.
› Coordinate the Digital Health Position Paper across internal teams.
› Build partnerships with external stakeholders.
› Develop technical documents and reports for senior leadership.
› Travel domestically and internationally up to 35% of the time.
› Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
› US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, with the ability to obtain a Facility Access clearance.
› Experience in digital health, especially in low and middle-income country contexts.
› Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills.
› Ability to work in high-pressure situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
› Availability to work 3 days per week in the Washington, DC office.
Preferred Qualifications:
› Familiarity with USAID or other international health development organizations.
› Experience with AI solutions in global health.
Salary Range:
› $94,900 to $147,940 per year, depending on experience.
