Job Description:
As an Early Career Electrical Engineer, you will join our Los Angeles Property & Buildings Team, contributing to the design and development of electrical systems for new buildings and renovations. You will play an important role in ensuring the technical excellence of project delivery, assisting in construction administration tasks, and collaborating with senior staff to meet client objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
› Assist in producing construction documents (drawings and reports) for new and renovated building projects.
› Support construction administration tasks, including reviewing RFIs and equipment submittals.
› Collaborate with senior staff to ensure project technical excellence.
› Maintain proficiency in technical knowledge of electrical engineering and industry codes.
› Work effectively in a team environment, or independently when required.
› Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with engineering and non-engineering audiences.
Required Qualifications:
› Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related discipline.
› 0-1 years of relevant post-education experience.
› Strong research and analytical skills.
› Familiarity with electrical engineering in the design of large capital projects.
› Basic understanding of electrical construction laws, codes, and regulations.
› Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
› Ability to work independently under general supervision, as well as part of a team.
› Proficiency with technical tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
› Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
› Previous internship experience related to the degree of study.
› Membership or participation in local professional organizations.
› Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
› PE Registration (highly desired).
Salary Range:
› Expected salary $67,500 - $92,840 per year, depending on education, experience, and location.
