Key Responsibilities:
› Perform repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and motor vehicles.
› Ensure all company safety policies are followed during repair operations.
› Complete required paperwork and records for equipment and vehicle repairs promptly.
› Follow detailed instructions and carry out job site tasks with or without supervision.
› Exercise good judgment in decision-making.
Education and Skills Required:
› High school diploma or GED.
› 3-5 years of relevant experience.
› Welding skills.
› Advanced mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools.
› Strong understanding of various engines and mechanical systems.
› Special certifications for working on air brakes and replacing coolant in air conditioning systems.
› Valid driver’s license to drive a mechanic truck.
› Medical Certificate (Med Card) required for this position.
› Mechanics must supply their own tools.
