Job Description:
The McOpCo Operations Consultant plays a crucial role in leading, coaching, and guiding restaurant teams to maximize long-term sales and profit growth while ensuring exceptional quality, service, and cleanliness (QSC). This role requires a hands-on approach, working directly with company-owned restaurants to foster strong business relationships, mentor staff, and improve operational performance.

The Consultant will consistently uphold McDonald’s values and leadership behaviors, collaborating with Operations Managers, restaurant leadership teams, crew, and customers to ensure the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:
People Development:
 Champion McDonald's People Promise by promoting respect, recognition, and support for all team members.
 Ensure proper staffing levels in all restaurants by utilizing McHire and other hiring tools.
 Lead recruitment and retention efforts for management roles, ensuring diversity and quality hires.
 Support crew and manager development through training programs such as CDP/Campus and management initiatives.
 Conduct performance reviews, develop performance improvement plans, and ensure accountability for all staff.
 Provide education on HR policies, safety procedures, and compliance with applicable laws.

Operational Excellence (QSC/Sales Building):
 Ensure restaurants meet McDonald’s QSC and food safety standards, enhancing the customer experience.
 Collaborate with restaurant managers to implement marketing initiatives, promotions, and new product launches.
 Use the QSC Playbook/PACE systems to train teams on operational excellence and consistently high levels of service.
 Develop and execute action plans to address performance gaps and continuously improve restaurant operations.
Business Strategy:
 Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop annual business plans, focusing on increasing customer counts, sales, and profits.
 Analyze data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
 Partner with restaurant leadership to foster a positive work environment and support overall business objectives.
 Conduct audits to ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and procedures, including cash handling and security.

Qualifications:
 High School Diploma or equivalent required.
 Field operations experience.
 Proven project management and implementation skills.
 Strong leadership and relationship management abilities.
 Ability to drive results through team collaboration and influence.
